I like mid week, always have. I also think that mid week is a good time to undertake wellness projects.It gives you something to look forward to bang in the middle of all those hectic schedules and it does make your week a lil more enjoyable. Wellness could mean anything from getting a mani-pedi to a spa trip, an at home facial or getting a quick foot massage after work, taking a yoga class or dance,boxing class whatever your exercise or fitness pill is. I have always had beginners issues with fitness classes. Mondays feel like a tiring day to start any fitness program what with Monday Blues and busy mom having had a hectic Sunday with a toddler. Iv also noticed that if schedule to start a program on a Monday and I happen to miss it for whatever reasons I then end up postponing to the following Monday. Just coz I feel Monday is the start of a fresh week ! I know I know…. Do you guys do that too or is it just me. Somehow after missing Monday , Tuesday doesn’t look like a day to start anything for me.So I’ve decided to beat this starting trouble that I have by launching Wellness Wednesdays. I dedicate Wednesdays to indulging in beauty and wellness treatments and will start any new diet/exercise/yoga/gym workouts henceforth on Wednesdays. In that spirit today I finally started my first Ashtanga yoga class. I found a really good class near me which I wish I had known about earlier, they teach a really good session. I m looking forward to learning more about yoga, improving my flexibility and stretching out those really stiff muscles of mine. Going Forward we will talk more wellness and health related topics on Wednesdays. Have a good week and make sure to take some time out for you this week.
